Fluoride Check Map

Colorado Springs Utilities has launched an interactive fluoride map on their website. Although the city does not add fluoride to city water, it did so in the past. Their website reads:

“We don’t add it to our water because it's already abundant in our Pikes Peak water sources. We blend these local supplies with the water we import from the Continental Divide to reduce concentrations to recommended levels.”

Since the city obtains water from multiple sources, the amount of fluoride in your drinking water varies. We recommend that dentists share the city’s interactive fluoride map so that patients can input their addresses to find out how much fluoride is in their water and to discuss the amount of fluoride.

Colorado Springs Utilities thanked the Colorado Springs Dental Society Board of Directors for its assistance.
