This site is a service provided by the CSDS as a benefit to its members and as a source of information to the public.  The CSDS makes no representations about the suitability of this information and these services for any purpose.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy on the Internet is important to us.  The Colorado Springs Dental Society (CSDS) guarantees that we provide the same standards of confidentiality on our web site that dentists provide to their own patients.  No information about your visit to this site will be shared with other organizations or companies.

However, the CS-DS.ORG site contains many links to other sites, and those sites may not follow the same privacy policies as CSDS.  If you click on a link which takes you away from the CSDS site, please check those sites' privacy policies prior to providing any personal information.  

The CSDS requests that children under 17 do not submit or post any information to the site without a parent's consent.  We will not request or knowingly collect from a child any information online that can be traced to the child or to the child's family.

Aggregated data is collected to track the usage of our site as a whole rather than on an individual basis.  Gathered through several methods, this data helps determine which areas of our site users like and don't like based on traffic to those areas.  This enables us to continue to build a better service for the community and the CSDS membership.  

Personal data may be requested to provide access to the Members Only section for ADA members who are not CSDS members.  Also, limited personal information will be requested to respond to e-mail correspondence.

Search Terms are used as a measure of user interest.  We track search terms that are entered into our site to create aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns for further site improvement and marketing information. 

Cookies can provide you with a level of user convenience.  A cookie is a small data file that web sites commonly write to your hard drive when you visit them.  A cookie file contains information that can identify you anonymously in order to track traffic patterns.  Cookies do not identify you personally, but rather they identify your computer.  They enable you to enter the CSDS site more efficiently and can improve your site visitor experience. 

Electronic newsletters are not provided by this site at this time.
